3.13.5 Business Rules and Validations

• Mandatory Fields:
  • Rule: All fields within the CSAT Form module are required to ensure comprehensive feedback collection.
  • Validation: Users cannot save or enable a CSAT form unless all required fields (Rating, Custom Questions, etc.) are filled with valid data.
  • Error Handling: Display error messages for any missing or invalid fields, preventing the save or enable action until resolved.
• Field Uniqueness Constraints:
  • Rule:
    • Rating: The Rating field can only be added once per form to maintain consistency in feedback collection.
  • Validation:
    • The system checks for existing instances of the Rating field before allowing its addition.
  • Error Handling:
    • If a user attempts to add a duplicate Rating field, display an error message indicating that it can only be added once.
• Validation Message Requirements:
  • Rule: If a field is marked as required, a corresponding validation message must be provided to guide user input.
  • Validation:
    • Ensure that each required field has an associated validation message.
  • Error Handling:
    • If a required field lacks a validation message, display an error message prompting the user to provide one.
