- Accessing the Document Module
- Description: Users can access the Document module through multiple pathways:
- Sidebar Navigation: Click on Bot Space -> Knowledge Hub -> Document from the sidebar menu.
- Quick Menu Access: Utilize the quick menu on the home screen for direct access to the Document module.
- Document Upload
- Description: Users can upload documents to be used as knowledge sources for bot training.
- Functionalities:
- Single Document Upload: Currently, the system supports uploading one document at a time.
- Supported Formats: Text files (e.g., .txt), PDF files (e.g., .pdf), and other specified document types.
- Business Rules & Validations:
- File Size Limit:
- Rule: Uploaded files must be less than 10 MB.
- Validation: The system checks the file size before allowing the upload.
- Error Handling: If the file exceeds 10 MB, an error message is displayed prompting the user to upload a smaller file.
- Allowed File Types:
- Rule: Only specific file types are permitted (e.g., text, PDF).
- Validation: The system verifies the MIME type of the uploaded file.
- Error Handling: If an unsupported file type is uploaded, an error message is displayed indicating the allowed file formats.
- File Integrity:
- Rule: Files must be valid and free from corruption.
- Validation: The system performs a MIME type check to ensure the file is not malicious.
- Error Handling: If a file with an invalid MIME type or double extensions is detected, the upload is rejected with an appropriate error message.
- Security Measures:
- Rule: Prevent the upload of files with double extensions to mitigate security risks.
- Validation: The system scans file names for multiple extensions (e.g., document.pdf.exe).
- Error Handling: If double extensions are found, the upload is rejected with an error message.

- Description: Users can manage uploaded documents through options to download or delete them.
