3.15.5 Business Rules and Validations

• Mandatory Fields:
  • Rule: All fields within the Bot Users module are required to ensure accurate and comprehensive user data management.
  • Validation: Users cannot save or update user information unless all required fields (Name, Email, Phone Number) are filled with valid data.
  • Error Handling: Display error messages for any missing or invalid fields, preventing the save or update action until resolved.
• Email Validation:
  • Rule: The Email field must contain a valid email address format to ensure effective communication.
  • Validation:
    • Implement regex-based validation to verify the structure of the email address (e.g., user@example.com).
    • Ensure that the email address does not contain invalid characters or formatting errors.
  • Error Handling:
    • If an invalid email format is detected, display an error message prompting the user to enter a valid email address.
    • Highlight the Email field to indicate the error.
