3.12.2 Functional Specifications

  • Accessing the Lead Form Module:
    • Description: Users can access the Lead Form module through the following pathway:
    • Navigation Path: Click on Bot Space -> Bot Configuration -> Lead Form from the sidebar menu.
  • Enabling/Disabling Lead Generation:
    • Description: By default, lead generation is disabled. Users can toggle the feature on or off based on their requirements.
    • Functionalities:
      • Enable Lead Form: Toggle the switch to ON to activate lead generation.
      • Disable Lead Form: Toggle the switch to OFF to deactivate lead generation.
  • Creating a Lead Generation Form:
    • Description: Users can create customized lead forms by adding various fields to capture user information.
    • Functionalities:
      • Field Types:
        • Name:
          • Description: Captures the user’s full name.
          • Constraints: Can be added only once per form.
          • Customization: Users can edit the label and validation message.
        • Email:
          • Description: Captures the user’s email address.
          • Constraints: Can be added only once per form.
          • Customization: Users can edit the label and validation message.
        • Phone:
          • Description: Captures the user’s phone number.
          • Constraints: Can be added only once per form.
          • Customization: Users can edit the label and validation message.
        • Custom Question:
          • Description: Allows users to add bespoke questions to gather additional information.
          • Customization: Users can define the question text, label, and validation message.
        • Dropdown:
          • Description: Provides a dropdown selection for users to choose from predefined options.
          • Customization: Users can define the options, label, and validation message.
        • Selection:
          • Description: Allows users to select multiple options or single choices.
          • Customization: Users can define the selection options, label, and validation message.
      • Field Customization:
        • Label Editing: Users can modify the display labels for each field to match their branding or specific requirements.
        • Validation Messages: Users can set custom validation messages that appear if user input does not meet the required criteria.
  • Form Management:
    • Editing Lead Forms:
      • Description: Users can modify existing lead forms by adding, editing, or removing fields.
      • Functionalities:
        • Add New Fields: Incorporate additional fields as needed.
        • Edit Existing Fields: Modify labels and validation messages.
        • Remove Fields: Delete fields that are no longer necessary, except for mandatory fields like Name, Email, and Phone.
    • Deleting Lead Forms:
      • Description: Users can delete lead forms that are no longer in use.
      • Functionalities:
        • Delete Action: Click the “Delete” button associated with the desired lead form and confirm the deletion.
        • Constraints: Ensure that the form is not actively used or linked to ongoing campaigns before deletion.
  • Viewing Lead Data:
    • Description: Data generated from lead forms can be accessed and reviewed in the Reports section.
    • Functionalities:
      • Access Reports: Navigate to the Reports module to view collected lead data.
      • Data Filtering: Apply filters based on form fields to analyze specific segments.
      • Export Options: Export lead data in various formats (e.g., CSV, PDF) for external use.
