3.11.3 Operational Details
- Usage Instructions:
- Accessing the Inactivity Timeout Module:
- Navigate to Bot Space → Bot Configuration → Inactivity Timeout from the sidebar menu.
- Alternatively, use the quick menu on the home screen to access the Inactivity Timeout module directly.
- Configuring Inactivity Timeout Messages:
- First Follow-Up Message:
- Locate the First Follow-Up Message field.
- Enter the custom message you wish the bot to send after the first period of inactivity.
- Set the trigger time in minutes (predefined value).
- Second Follow-Up Message:
- Locate the Second Follow-Up Message field.
- Enter the custom message for the second period of inactivity.
- Set the trigger time in minutes (predefined value).
- Close Conversation Message:
- Locate the Close Conversation Message field.
- Enter the message that will be sent to close the conversation after the final period of inactivity.
- Set the trigger time in minutes (maximum value is 59 minutes).
- First Follow-Up Message:
- Saving Configurations:
- After entering all required messages and setting the corresponding trigger times, click the “Submit” button to apply the configurations.
- Note: Ensure that all fields are filled correctly to avoid validation errors.
- Post-Configuration Actions:
- Verification: Test the inactivity timeout settings by initiating a conversation and remaining inactive to observe the automated messages.
- Adjustments: Modify the messages or trigger times as needed based on user feedback and engagement metrics.
