3.9.3 Operational Details

• Usage Instructions:
  • Accessing the Bot Messages Module:
    • Navigate to Bot Space -> Bot Configuration -> Bot Messages from the sidebar menu.
  • Configuring Sorry Messages:
    • Locate the Sorry Messages section.
    • First Sorry Message:
      • Enter the initial apology message the bot will display when it lacks an answer.
    • Second Sorry Message:
      • Enter the follow-up apology message the bot will display if it still lacks an answer after the first message.
  • Enabling/Disabling Bot Citation:
    • Locate the Bot Citation toggle.
    • Enable Citation:
      • Toggle the switch to ON.
      • Specify the reference sources (documents or links) for citations.
    • Disable Citation:
      • Toggle the switch to OFF to disable citations.
    • Note: Ensure that the selected platform supports the citation feature before enabling.
  • Enabling/Disabling Bot Recommendation:
    • Locate the Bot Recommendation toggle.
    • Enable Recommendation:
      • Toggle the switch to ON.
    • Disable Recommendation:
      • Toggle the switch to OFF to disable recommendations.
    • Note: Ensure that the selected platform supports the recommendation feature before enabling.
  • Enabling/Disabling Leave a Message Form:
    • Locate the Leave a Message Form toggle.
    • Enable Leave a Message Form:
      • Toggle the switch to ON.
      • Enter a Fallback Message that accompanies the leave-a-message form.
    • Disable Leave a Message Form:
      • Toggle the switch to OFF to disable the feature.
    • Note: The leave-a-message form appears after the second sorry message when enabled.
  • Saving Changes:
    • After configuring the desired settings, click the “Save” button to apply the changes.
    • Note: Ensure all required fields are filled correctly to avoid validation errors.
