  • 3.2.2 Functional Specifications
    • Accessing the Create Bot Screen
      • Description: Users can access the Create Bot screen through two primary pathways:
      • No Existing Bots: If a company has no bots created, users can navigate to the Create Bot screen by clicking the “Create Bot” button.
      • Existing Bots Present: If bots already exist within the company, users can access the Create Bot screen by selecting the “Create Bot” option from the bot dropdown menu.
    • Bot Creation Process
      • Bot Avatar Selection
        • Description: Users must select a bot avatar from predefined options or upload a custom image.
        • Business Rules & Validations:
          • Predefined Avatars: A set of predefined avatars is available for selection.
          • Custom Avatars: Users can upload custom bot images.
          • Avatar Requirements:
            • Uniqueness: Each bot avatar must be unique within the company.
            • Size Limit: Uploaded avatar images must not exceed 5 MB.
            • Required Field: Bot avatar selection is mandatory.
      • Bot Name
        • Description: Users assign a unique name to the bot.
        • Business Rules & Validations:
          • Uniqueness: Bot names must be unique within the company.
          • Format: Bot names must not contain any spaces and must be exactly 10 characters long.
          • Required Field: Bot name is mandatory.
          • Error Handling: If a bot name violates the uniqueness or format rules, an error message is displayed prompting the user to choose a different name.
      • Bot Description
        • Description: Users provide a brief description of the bot’s purpose and functionalities.
        • Business Rules & Validations:
          • Required Field: Bot description is mandatory.
          • Error Handling: If the description is missing or exceeds the character limit, an error message is displayed prompting the user to provide a valid description.
      • Bot Prompt
        • Description: Users define the bot’s behavior and interaction style through a prompt.
        • Business Rules & Validations:
          • Required Field: Bot prompt is mandatory.
          • Content Guidelines: Prompts should clearly define how the bot should behave during chats.
          • Error Handling: If the prompt is missing or does not meet content guidelines, an error message is displayed.
    • Post-Creation Actions
      • Knowledge Base Integration
        • Description: After successfully creating a bot, users are prompted to add a knowledge base to enhance the bot’s responses.
        • Options: Users can choose to add a knowledge base immediately or proceed to other workflows.
      • Navigation
        • Description: Users can navigate to other modules or functionalities within the platform after bot creation.
